What’s In Your Drinking Water?

FOX 17 News' Meagan O’Halloran sits down with Tennessee Riverkeeper to investigate why Nashville and many other cities can’t seem to be able to fix public health concern related to drinking water contamination.

The latest annual report shows that Tennessee gave Metro a “perfect score” when it comes to the quality of drinking water in Nashville — but the scope of the required testing does not cover what’s called “Emerging Contaminants of Concern.”

More specifically, The 3Ps — PFAS, plastics, and pharmaceuticals. FOX 17’s Meagan O’Halloran uncovered what’s being left out of drinking water quality reports in the Music City and nationwide.
